Well, all Oasis fans are waitin' and see that "Oasis and it's new album" soap. It's fookin' fustrating, but I think Oasis tries to make a amazing album, not just another rock n roll album. But what do you expect from the new album ? Just like all the other ones ? Or something very new ? What do you expect and wish of the new album ?

i recon and hope its just oasis doing their stuff at their best, not trying anything new otherwise they'd be faking it, and it probs wouldnt work out for the best. keep it real

im glad DIV arent producing. cos i didnt want anohter SOTSOG sound. as much as i liked that record, its not really a proper oasis sounding record.

I was keen to have Death In Vegas produce the new album. I thought Scorpio Rising was a great track, and I was curious to see how the band would sound with a different take on the production. I still hope that those sessions get released in some format in the future. I don't think that the album would have sounded like SOTSOG with DIV producing. Maybe we'll never know, but I hope so. They should release the best 4-6 songs from the sessions as an EP, assuming they don't want to use any of songs for the next album.

I seriously hope they don't make another DM or MG. Those songs are done with, they should try new things or they will grow tired of writing and split up. Noel and Liam have alot of talent, they need to really brainstorm and do something with it. Repeating themselves won't make Oasis a memorable band. Look at the reaction they recieved at Glastonbury. I think if they had played Hindu Times, Go Let it Out, Born On A Different Cloud, and Gas Panic or some other new material people would be happier.
They need to branch out. I was excited for Death in Vega producing their new album :S.

I really like SOTSOG but it isn't like Oasis once were, i know things have to change. this is what i feel the albums are like... DM- Rock and Roll, dirty sounding rock WTSMG?- Britpop, much softer BHN- Very Beatles/Lennon-esque, random and mellow MP- Mixture but pretty much back to basics SOTSOG- New wave and different, more edited and studio-like HC- Like SOTSOG but a bit 'rockier' I want the next album to be like old Oasis mixted with Heavy Stereo and Ride/Hurricane #1 as much i am towards them moving on, i would like it to be like old Oasis with a bit of Gem and Andy's stuff thrown in

HC demonstrated elements of the oasis sound in there heyday, like hindu times and hung in a bad place, also u could say SCYHO is remeniscent of DLBIA.
Personally, i was never a fan of DIV producing fearing they wreck the oasis sound, i would like to see a back to roots rock and roll record thats not too polished and over produced.
the re-release of DM may inspire them

I dont think they should go back to their roots, look at glastonbury everyone slated it cos theyd played all their old stuff, people are gonna get bored oasis need to move on and realise that theyve made 3 albums since the dm and wtsmg and they need to make the next one something new that grabs the world by the neck once more and the phenomenom can start once again

I'm a bit frustated with noel, really.
I mean sometimes he put songs that we like to hear in singles. I mean, yeah i respect him as a songwrite but, at least for once let us hear wat WE want, at least one or two as a single. then he can write/include watever he wants.
wenever/Watever the album is gona i hope he n the record company who publish it (hello Sony) choose the rite songs, to b released as singles. Unlike SOTSOGs, ("i can see a liar" n "Put yer money.." cud have been mad singles)
... but still i cant wait for the new album.... but i'm not holding my breath, meaning, i expect it not as big as morning glory (which was undoubtedly the best album ever)
And i miss noisy song!!!! unlike heathen chem & SOTSOGs
