just thought id make a new thread to celebrate that it was 2 years ago exactly i went to the finsbury park gig, it was fuckin mega! never forget it, shame there aint a video to go with the memories.

I was there in the 5th. Amazing. Cant remember any of the support acts just remember being covered in piss!!

Liam came out with a green coat on which looked great and I remember him saying,
'this is for John'
just before playing My Generation.

I went on the second, I remember me and my mate getting a good spot and so that no one could nick it, we stayed there for 7 hours without eating or going to the toilet! Also two 50+ yr old women jumping up and down, shouting Liam's name, while their husbands just stood there going redder and redder in the face! But well worth it, fantastic gig and yeah, great shame that there's been no DVD of the gig released.

Oh, and the constant beer throwing! I was by the VIP section, and whenever one of the C-list celebs came anywhere near the fencing they got attacked by a hail of plastic lager glasses and lager, nice!

me & the bird went on the 7th

got a nice hotel reubens at victoria opposite buckpalace checked in went walkabout had beer & food at an irish bar up the road (i loaded the juke with oasis)

went to finsbury found a back street boozer had more beer

went for italian meal & peroni just up the road

got to the gig had my beercans confiscated (bastards!!) but bought more in there

rescued my girl from 2 scots (no they were good lads they were off to see the boys at t in the park)

met a crowd of lads/girls, spent muc of the nite chuckin plastic botles, got showered when julie got on my shoulders for dont look back

dodged into a bar after the gig to avoid the traffic, played pool then couldnt find cab back to hotel til we got picked up by some dodgy unlicensed geezer

went to the cocktail lounge-as u do-& drank beer

retired to room got room service to deliver bottle of rioja & smoked salmon sarnies

passed out b4 it arrived

best gig ever!!!!!!!!!

went on the aturday (6th july) I remember the whole day, we left dead early and got to london for about ten and spent the morning going to loads of london guitar shops. I remember we went past this fire station and these fireman were talking to these two french girls trying to understand them, i think they were lost and the firemen said to us "can you speak french lads?" and we were like "a little" and the girls spoke to us for about five minutes and i couldnt understand a fucking word, are reply was "jadore le foot" ;D.

We got there at about half two and the coral were on who were great, proud mary were ok, cornershop were rubbish, brmc fucking rocked and so did the charlatans. Oasis came on about two hours later ::)

they fuckin rocked though. I thought i was gonna die the pushing was so bad at the start when fucking in the bushes and hello came on. It was my first ever gig and still is the best gig ive ever been to!

i was there on friday, saturday...oh and sunday

they were the best three days of my life, great bands, loads of beautiful women and beer.

best support band were Soundtrack Of Our Lives and Cornershop. Oasis played amazing on all 3 days, though Liams voice was gone the last date.

best song was Little By Little, the crowd was singing along to it as if it was played at every gig for the last 8 years

shame you had to long over your had all the time, didn't want to get hit in the head by a jack daniels bottle
