i am new on ere cos oasis.inet aint workin but i had to get this off my chest. i could see it comming a mile off...... last nights performance-in my eyes, was special. musicaly they r amazzin, liam was on form. it was great. but low-and-behold, they get slagged. apparantley it was a lackluster performance lacking passion and oasis r passed it etc etc. its fuckin stupid. i was on such a high after watchin the gig and desperate to read the reviews to see the kind of praise that these days is only reserved for fuckin coldplay. but i was met with all that bullshit. the only site i can find that doesnt slag em off is nme.com. on there oasis r winning a poll of "who rocked friday night at glasto" which is nice. but its just dissapointin to read all the crap. damn im pissed off.

mate, same old shit weve had to deal with ever since be here now came out. The tabloids just print shit, in the end all that matters is if the fans liked it, i fucking loved it.

dont agree mate!
i wanted them to go in there and prove to the outside world what i already knew about them and they did an ok gig when they should have blown us away.
it has nothing to do with the knock em down shit this time.
they were uninspiring and probably nervous.
glastonbury 1995 was a classic gig! try listening to the two gigs side by side and you will know what i mean.
i enjoyed the gig but it is way down my list. sadly, they did'nt pull it off but thats the spikey chart that oasis is and thats why i love em.

I obviously wasn't at the gig since I am from the US but it sounds like Oasis put on a great show considering they have been off for the the past 1 1/2 years. I am still surprised the critics think that Oasis will play some massively different setlist everytime, its not gonna happen.
I can also see how some people were dissapointed cause of the lack of Be Here Now and SOTSOG songs and the lack of banter on stage but they are getting older and one thing I have noticed is that the bands with the longer longevity play more of the safer songs making a greatest hits show with a few new songs added
I know going into an Oasis gig you are not gonna get much from Liam talking especially here in the States but that is fine with me. I am there to be taken away by the awesome tunes they have.
Since we are talking about live shows I just saw KISS last night and talk about an awesome light/pyrotechnics show. My first show seeing them and it was so fucking entertaining. I'm a new fan

starfish! glasto 95 was the one that really broke them.
noel says he hated the gig because of robby williams running around but he knows how important it was.
remember, they stood in at the last minute because the stone roses had dropped out.
they walked in there and stole the show.
it's a brilliant gig!
you just cant get that hunger back again sadly!
i love going to see oasis but i know that they were at their greatest then.
thats the way of rock n roll!
