i read the reviews before i got hold of the bootleg so i expected a total out of tune percussion...
lol, starkey indeed changed some bits..and it's still cool..i'm sure when people get used to him and his style they'll respect his work as much as with whitey..who was also given shit for start..

as good a drummer that starkey is, i still think Alan is the best. I saw Oasis at poole and i thought they did rock ;D but i did miss alan. but Zak can half hit those drums thou can't he ;D

After seeing Oasis in Poole I can confirm Starkey is a wicked drummer, although I didn't like his take on Live forever. I'm sure he used the snare when it should be played on the bassier tomtom.

Alan White and Zak Starkey are both great drummers, they've just got a different style. Alan White is quite a relaxed drummer, who lets the kit do all the work for him. Wheras Zak Starkey is very intense and batters the kit as hard as he can. Very different styles but both effective.
