my friend wants me to do him a 15 song cd of live oasis. Im a bit overwhelemed with the endless pile of bootlegs i have i thinking along the lines of knebworth, main rd, earls court, wembley etc to choose from.
he wants all the rock anthems no acoustics.
Id be greatfull if you put forward your top 15 live performances to see if ive missed anything
cheers.

that will be some hard work... Hung In A Bad Place sounds amazing played live, probably as it is not so hard to play... Be Here now is also amazing live. all in all they're a typical live band and almost everything they do live is way better than the album. so, only 15 songs is going to be some hard work for you it would be for me... cheers.

If you're after some good rocky songs then it's worth looking through the G-Mex gig, superb versions of loads of great songs that would fit what your mate wants perfectly!

the G-Mex Bootleg is amazing,... there are some grand live versions of "D'You Know What I Mean" and "Stay Young", man. The Knebworth gig is great aswell, "Columbia", and "Whatever" are my favourite live versions from that one. A song that sounds far better live than the studio version is "Who Feels Love", from Familair To Millions, the Neil Young cover of "Hey Hey, My My" is also very goog live

You've gotta have Rock 'n' Roll Star from Familiar to Millions. Top tune, top version.
Also, the live version of Columbia from the Songbird single.

Earl's court is the gig with the best sound quality. Liam's vox are just like on the albums.
Gmex is also amazing. BHN live tunes are awsome.
Barrowlands has the perfect setlist (only missing Live Forever).
Vancouver (95) is the best DM gig.
