1.Morning Glory 2.Definitely Maybe 3.Heathen Chemistry 4.Be Here Now 5.SOTSOG
I would actually put 1-4 pretty much even, SOTSOG is by far the worst.

Not as easy as it first appears. I believe the order of release, coupled with pure timing have everything to do with A LOT of opinions anyway. I've always insisted that WTSMG? would have received much more critical acclaim then it did had it been their first efort. Same with HC...imagine if that would have replaced BHN? I belive the listenability of that record would have sent them into the stratosphere. I'm one of the biggest fans of BHN that I know of, but you cannont deny the overall accesibility of tunes like: hindu, hung, stop, and little by little. anyways
5. SOTSOG- introspective in spots, rockingly addictive for 4 minutes (GLIO!) but on the whole somewhat embarrasing for a band with a proven track record of delivering so much more. of course I do still like it. 4. BHN highly underrated, with great pinnacles of sound to be found for sure (including their career triumph DYKWIM? (masterfully ripping off their own song) but still about 15 minutes t o o l o n g. 3. DM love it..c'mon though, a coca cola ripoff, digsy's dinner, and married with children? I believe a lot of the hype has to do with the timing here... especially when considering the "debut" sweat every band's first record invaribly receives. sorry. 2. HC yes, i really believe it's that good -too bad there was a 6 year lapse 1. WTSMG just too all-encompassing, global, and massive to deny. yeah and it happens to include hello, WW, DLBIA, WTSMG, and CS. good god.
BTW- the top 3 change weekly of course.

A very intersting topic, despite been a massive Oasis fan right from the start and investing a lot of time and money into this band, I feel that there is some good individual tracks across all the CD's they have released, even be here now has 1 decent track on it. But as far as decent albums go, this is what I think.
1. DM - A fantastic debut cd from Oasis, with some of their finest work - most of the songs Oasis play live these days comes from this album, which reflects on the quality of the music on it.
2. WTSMG - Champagne Supernova - what more can you say, a truly fantastic song, I love that song live.
And as for the rest of the CDS, they don't deserve to be in a top 5, BHN - what was that all about, got loads of hype on release, everyone went nuts about it - then when most people actually listened to it properly in comparison to the other stuff Oasis had released, they realised it wasn't actully that good at all.
SOTSOG - Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse - Who feels love - they played that when I seen them at Wembely a few years back - the crowd nearly went to sleep, it nearly killed the show.
Heathen Chemistry - at first I thought this wasn't a bad CD, Liam making a couple of contributions which was refreshing and made you take notice for about 5 minutes. But once again after a few plays, you can't help but go to your cd collection and pull out DM to recapture the good times.
Their new cd is going to be crucial, it could be crunch time for them if it isn't up to scratch, we need to relive the good old days again with some classic Oasis tunes, and let's hope we get some of those classic B-Sides on the singles again.
It's good to see a lot of different opinions on this topic.

1. (What's The Story) Morning Glory-Made me a fan of Oasis every song is a showcase of what is missing in music today 2. Definately Maybe- Right up there with morning glory 3. Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants- Very underappreciated, great sounds and production. Just a bad track list as some bsides were worthy album cuts 3.Be Here Now- All Around The World is Oasis at it's best 4. Heathen Chemistry-Can't argue with the singles from the album as they are great but the album goes all over the map

since i made this topic i've switched my list up abit.
Definately Maybe - still as brilliant as when I first listened to it. Columbia, Bring it On Down, Supersonic, Live Forever ...can I say more?
Heathen Chemistry - The most mature and down to earth Oasis album yet. They have an incredable band on this album, and they don't make it too complicated, which they easily could have. Some excellent tracks on it.
Standing on The Shoulders of Giants - Songs like Go Let it Out, Gas Panic, and Fuckin in the Bushes have really grown on me. This is the most diverse Oasis album. I like that it didn't get as much recognition as it should have. It's like my little gem. Little James is an exception though...
Whats The Story Morning Glory - Good Album, I think I've heard it too much and there's quite abit I don't like about this album. I think it's almsot as overproduced as Be Here Now (if possible) there's too much backround ocastra in alot of it like Some Might Say, Wonderwall, and stuff it's alittle weak IMO. It has great hits for it's time, I don't like to think Oasis as Wonderwall and CS. Morning Glory is the best track live from that album.
Be Here Now - Good lyrics. Too overproduced and touchy feely for me. Again, I don't like all the backround orcastra bullshit in it.
The Masterplan - A few great songs, too many crappy bsides. I think it's hard to rate it among the other albums.

I am amazed at how many fans seem to dislike SOTSG. IMO its definitely not a poor album in any way. I am always listening to the Noel demos from it! But then again I wouldn't say any of the Oasis albums were "rubbish" despite the fact I often see Be Here Now on sale for £4.99

It's very interesting topic. I admit that I'm big fan of Oasis' albums. Right now I'm squashing on much weed and Standing on the Shoulder of Giants. For me SotSoG and Be Here Now - two of the most underrated albums of Oasis are two of the best albums. -. I love SotSoG. Many five-minutes epics like Roll it Over, Sunday Morning Call, Who Feels Love and Gas Panic!, which are trully amazing. Yeah there are really one or two weak moments like the two quick rockers - PYWYMI and I Can See A Liar, but without this two songs it's a fantastic album. They are good songs, but... nothing special. P.S. I like very much Little James. P.P.S. Let's All Make Believe is also a fantastic song, although it's not on the oficial album... It dezerves to be there. -. While SotSoG is suffering from these two weak tracks, the Chemistry suffers from the lack of Songs. Once you've picked up the album... it stops. It has few of the best Oasis' epics like STCYHO and BODC. It has two fantastic rockers - All in the Mind and Hindu Times. But... it's just too short for my taste. 1. Be Here Now is... Oasis at their top. The best album of the band. I can hardly believe that they can surpass it. Despite being over produced I like the overall feeling. It's touching. The best album of Oasis so far. -. (What's the Story) Morning Glory. Of cours it's a great album with its classic songs, hits and fantastic feel that every Oasis album has. I love it and I don't love it... Because most people know only two songs of it - Wonderwall and DLBIA - and when they say "I've listened to Oasis", after that it appears they've listened to only these two songs. That's why I'm not so keen on it... -. Definitely Maybe is a classic album. It has many of the best songs of Oasis' collection. "Married with Children"...No more words... I love Be Here Now and I consider it as the best Oasis' album. Other albums are rotating in matter which I'm listening to at the moment. At the moment ¹2 is SotSoG.
