In order, how would you rank each Oasis album? I don't want FTM in it because well, it was kinda like a greatest hits sorta thing and it's not fair. This is how I would order them up.
1. Definately Maybe
2. What's The Story (Morning Glory)
3. Heathen Chemistry
4. The Masterplan
5. Be Here Now
6. Standing On The Shoulders of Giants.

The Masterplan doesn't count because it was B-sides, but it goes:

Definitely Maybe

FTM wasnt a greatest hits, it was a live album. anyway DM WTSMG HC BHN SOTSOG TMP I only put master plan last cause its not a real album either, its just b-sides  |

I think HC comes last, because there isn't a feel to the songs as a package. All the other albums seem to fit together better.

for me, it depends on what mood you're in each day- heathen chemistry & morning glory are a bit more laid down, while be here now and definitely maybe are more rockers. sotsog is just... well... sotsog. still a great album though

The Masterplan should count as they officially released the cd for their songs. Just because they have the name Bsides does not not make them a compilation of Oasis songs. Yes FTM was a live concert, of their greatest hits at the time....

DM is great but I think BHN is just one of the most amazing albums I've ever heard and I've thought that since the day I bought it. The drumming is better than DM. Yeah it's too long and the production is so over the top but thats one of the reasons I like it. Quality rocking tracks like DYKWIM, IHITIK, MBM, IGBM and then you've got numbers like SBM DGA and AATW fantastic album. Only a band like Oasis had the balls to go out and make an album like that and the fact they were all on drugs gives it that trippy feel to it. I'm not bothered if Noel thinks it's shite it was Oasis at their best. |

Definitely Maybe and WTSMG are blatently the best. Sometimes i think my favourite is Heathen Chemistry but then i realise thats because ive overplayed DM and WTSMG and Heathen Chemistry is newer. Ive also noticed that many people have put HC low down on their lists, I personally would have to disagree, HC to me sound like a band who mean it. BHN sounds like a cocaine fuelled mess, and SOTSOG sounds like they dont know what the fuck they are or where they're going!! IMO. |

I haven't bought BHN or SOTSOG but I have heard them both many times. SOTSOG has some good tracks but it also has some bad ones. BHN is good, but I think TMP WTS DM AND HC are fuller, more meaningful albums.

I think it's the most under rated which is why i like it more. WTS has to be in everyone's top 2 and DM is a top album but for me BHN tops it. ;D |
