I just bought the there and then dvd, and I got to say it even surpassed my expectations. I going to get either familiar to millions or live by the sea next. Anyone have any thoughts on which one is better?

familiar to millions is great, it has the best special features and obviously because its the newest has the best slesction of songs. Live By the sea is great too though, verry raw and it was when they were just starting out so i suppose to fans that have liked them since the start its quite nostalgic.

Live by the sea is probably the best gig out of the three. The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't have 5.1 sound. FTM is ok (and has "some bird pulling her top up") and has the best features but it isn't worth getting if you already have the CD.
Hope the new DVD has a lot of cool features.

FTM is really awesome.. My only complaint is that there are too many SOTSOG songs on it but I guess that makes sense since the album was just about to come out...Ther and Then is my fav but I haven't seen Live by the sea.. If I have T and T and FTM is it worth getting Live by the sea>?

If I have T and T and FTM is it worth getting Live by the sea>? theres only 4 if you count fuckin in the bushes, considering they were touring the album its not much at all. Live by the sea is well worth getting, there really on form. The best bit is when noel forgets how to play dyer wanna be a spaceman and stops it half way through. But other then that its great. A bit to much feedback on some songs but well worth getting.

Live by the Sea is definatly worth getting.
The little interview bits on there and then are cool but i can't make out what the hell guigs is trying to say. I didn't like the song selection on FTM that much either but its worth getting just to hear Gas Panic and a few others.

Liams vocals on Champagne Supernova are worth the price of Familiar to Millions alone. Not to mention his "fast-fowarding" in the interview section.

i like on 'live by the sea' when liam gives that fan shit for throwing a shoe on stage right before 'some might say' good stuff.

I say FTM should be your next dvd as it has a few extras (interviews, alternate camera angles cigs and alcohol only, behind the scenes) The band sounds great but Liams voice isn't up to standards. Beware the crowd is really into it and drowns out the band at times in the audio mix. Good song selection. Overall 8/10
Live By The Sea is great but suffers from a limited catalogue (Definately Maybe cuts and b sides) One thing it does show is the band in early form with even Tony at the skins. Beware some songs are not played till the end in Noles solo set. Overall 6/10
