Don't know if the writers at NME are going to gain a lot of Oasis fans with the statements they made regarding LIAMS recent works....Do You Agree with NME Writers ??
Death in Vegas excerpt:
It's an organic kind of homebrew DJing. DIV would possibly protest that their artistic impulses and working practices are those of any 'real' band, but 'Scorpio Rising''s sparkling title track tells another story. Frustrated, no doubt, as all fans of the man's imperial growl are with [glow=red,1,300]Liam Gallagher's somewhat one-dimensional recent material[/glow], DIV here scientifically seek to rehouse Britain's premier rock voice in more suitably palatial surroundings. How to make the great man great once more? First give him some slow-burning post-Beatles psychedelic sounds and then feed him far-out, mystic love-lines to chew on. The science works well. [glow=red,1,300]It's Liam's best recording in years. [/glow]

scorpio rising is nice.. but if you listen to the bootlegs from the last 2 years and the live songs from 1996, Liams voice has changed a lot and it sounded more beautiful in the early years. (sorry i can't explain it, my English is not the best )
