My dream in life has always been to be a writer of many sorts in Iceland - but if the smoky rivers elude me and I have to stay in Britain, then Edinburgh it is for me. I went last summer during the festival and loved it completely. Such a wonderful symbioses of the old and new, without taking itself too seriously (ahem....London....ahem) how old are you exactly? 15 why? |

No reason, I was just subconsciously aware of you being younger than a lot of the posters on here, and yet your posts talk more sense than most, and you're obviously very well read. Don't get me wrong, I'm not patronising you, I'm just surprise is all. Lord knows what was going through my head when I was fifteen (if anything at all), but I can be sure it wasn't the aspirations of becoming a writer, or in fact doing anything creative or worthwhile at all. Good on you for knowig who you are and what you want at such a young age. I hope those smokey rivers of Iceland elude you no more!  |

@wadfalkirk, that's Edinburgh Castle, right? Great view and a great city. I've been there for three days in 2006 and I loved it. I'll definitely come back there sooner or later... That is Edinburgh Castle. It is a great city, to live in and for tourists. It's got a lot of arsehole banker types as well though. More so than other cities. I have lived in Edinburgh most of my days. I have travelled a fair bit as well, and I can honestly say I have no great desire to live anywhere else. |

Seeing as you're using a mobile, to embed the image in your post type this: [img src="http://yourimage.doctor.whateverthefucktheurlis.com"], obviously replacing the example link, with the link of your image. |
