I didn't get mine until about 11:15...I live in Detroit, so it was kind of a whim, got lucky I suppose! Everyone was saying that they couldn't get closer than the 200 bowl. I don't know what rubbersoul is talking about the 100 section being general admission. Not at this gig.
We'll have to meet up for drinks before the gig! This is so funny...I wonder if the people in between us would switch? It'd be better if they were on the forum too!

Yeah, we could... I live here in Toronto.
At that time, 10ish, I thought A LOT of people would be getting their tickets, so, I just went ahead and bought them, without refreshing the page to see if there's better tickets.
This is weird... seats are numbered A to Z, we're like 12 rows behind... I've no idea there's that much VIP's that will even show up...

You know... record company execs... friends of the band... contest winners... the really lucky people, basically luxury boxes...

how long do you think before this thing sells out?
like rush, alice cooper and tragically hip all had tickets avaliable until about a week before their shows last year

i'll give it until the next few weeks or maybe even after the album comes out. The tickets go on sale to the general public on friday or saturday so it should pick up then.

I think the pavillion seating will sell out quickly. Lawn seats should be available up until the concert.

I'll be going. Haven't been to an Oasis concert since 1998 in Toronto at Maple Leaf Gardens. Can't wait!

I was at that show at the Gardens. Noel's acoustic set was absolutely stunning.

This UIC Pavilion looks pretty nice. Looks like Green Day played there recently. looks like Sting and Marroon 5 are playing there Also looks like it seats alot for concerts. Saw Oasis in '02 at Chicago theatre, couldn't have held much more than 2,000. Maybe booking these larger arenas means they are pretty confident about the new album? Just a thought. ;D

section 103, row F, seats 5-6 !! the last two times oasis played the amp in toronto, the 100 level has been reserved seating... it is possible to take those seats out and have it GA, but Oasis shows don't do that, they leave the seats in... i think that's what the confusion is about... rows in each level go from A (closest to the stage) down to Z (halfway point) then go AA down to ZZ (farthest row from the stage in a level) here's a detailed seating map: media.ticketmaster.com/en-ca/tmimages/venue/maps/tor/10000s.gifhope that clears up any confusion some might be having in the thread cheers see you in toronto ;D

I hope so... in 2002 I was in the 300's, the band was so small, but the sound was great though Noel's acoustic Wonderwall was breathtaking.

Ended up with section 101 row H I just kept on going back and trying until I got better tickets.... It will be nice to be close, since in 1998 (at Maple Leaf Gardens) I was in the very last row.
