Sams Town was a bloody terrific album, without doubt my favourite of there's, It's a shame they didn't carry that sound on for another record because I lost interest when Humans came out but this new stuff sounds good Never in my life have I gone from being so interested in a band to having literally no interest whatsoever as I did with The Killers when their third album came out. I also enjoyed the first single from that album but somehow they managed to go stale for me almost overnight shortly after. Weird.

Blonde hair blowin' in the summer wind A blue-eyed girl playing in the sand I'd been on a trail for a little while But that was the night that she broke down and held my hand The teenage rush, she said, 'maybe I'll just runaway, we got time' Well that ain't much...
We can't wait 'til tomorrow

Sams Town was a bloody terrific album, without doubt my favourite of there's, It's a shame they didn't carry that sound on for another record because I lost interest when Humans came out but this new stuff sounds good Hot Fuss seems to get a lot of love and is a fantastic album but Sams Town is their best album. Love the Springsteen vibe they were going with it, seemed like they were trying to move away from the English Indie sound of their debut as a lot of Americans thought they were British. The Killers never seemed to have won over their own Country like they have done outside it. Seems like that made them back off the sound of Sam's Town which is a shame. I agree after Sam's Town they did start to become very patchy although their singles were still strong, that Greatest Hit's album is a cracker and is going to be the kind of album that influence a lot of Indie bands in the future. I love A Dustland Fairytale and This is Your Life From Day And Age, but like you I kind of faded out after that. Happened with Franz Ferdinand too after their second album. Seems like two members of the band have quit touring full time and will only be doing the big gigs and studio stuff. So it's pretty much Brandon Flowers solo, and let's be honest I doubt many will notice the other guys gone.
