well, whats yours than? shit poop crap franz ferdinand. every song is great! after that the libertines are just pure charm in their music. they have the best single without a doubt. and the follow up and the follow up to the followup! but what i love about these bands is the fact that they both have a sense of humour and are not depressing! heavy.

jet just suck donkey balls! one good song and a pile of pish to back it up.
a cool name does not make a rock n roll band.
this year is a two horse race. two great british bands.
franz is brilliant but the liberteans are a thing of true beauty.
both bands piss all over the kings of leon and jet.
bring it on you rock n roll wimps!
face real rock n roll for a change. then get sick and throw up and become merchant banker. it is your true calling in life.

hmm... Jet uses everything that was invented in rock'n'rol.. and it's sounds good... rock'n'roll doesn't need to be reinvented... and Get Born it's a great albun

i hate when people bring covers out as a single.
as b-side, fair enough. pretty cool though, i love to hear covers. on an album, could be. prefer not
but not on a single

ok beerbaron - you're getting a top 5 from me so think yourself lucky i thought i'd leave posting until nearer the end of the year... and its lucky i did because now i can include the hit song by Nadia from Big Brother!!! it rocks. I've chosen different artists for each selection otherwise Franz Ferdinand and the Killers would dominate my singles list! Singles: 1. All These Things That I've Done - Killers 2. Cant Stand Me Now - Libertines 3. Keep What Ya Got - Brownie/Noel 4. Fit But You Know It - The Streets 5. Toxic - Britney Spears Albums: 1. Franz Ferdinand - FF 2. Around The Sun - REM 3. You Are The Quarry - Morrissey 4. Smile - Brian Wilson 5. Oh great...ive forgotten my 5th choice i'll come back to it... My award for most amazing and unusual song ive heard in years goes to 'Heroes and Villans' by Brian Wilson. awesome And my award for best intro goes to 'Cant Stand Me Now' which is just a superb start to a great song. Makes me smile everytime i hear it And no - 'Toxic' isnt there for a joke. its quality and you know it
