I think in my opinion too many spin off chit chat topics.... Orginally What are your thoughts today and Say anything to get your post up were enough and I still think they're enough.. When I came back a few months ago I notice it turned into 7 or so topics about chit chat... Personally if I was webmaster... I would limit to 3 to what your listening to, what your thoughts today, and say anything to get your post up.... I don't post a topic me getting threaten or whatever...I admit I do join in some rubbish, but personally as older member I see why older members do complain... I come here to kill time or whatever... Personally I like my Oasis forum ( www.themadferit.com ) picks up and kind of dissappear from here.. I think some older members need to realize new kids are in town.. They run the forum now..If you don't like it, then go to another forum or just allow it,because most older members bitch and don't do anything to change the ship in a different direction... Kalas and Tam do post most shit topics...Personally I don't dig the club stuff or whatever...live4ever used have two clubs members and guest... i am a new member, been on since the spring... i have a love for oasis AND the meaningless that's all.....no big deal... BRAIN DUMP... i agree, i have joined another forum, not oasis related... mod music, clothes, film, furniture, etc... i enjoy it. GOOD TO MIX IT UP... |

~i do not agree with daysleeper on much, i can't because he made racial comments about eva and brumo... Christ I cant believe i'm having to actually defend myself over this.....  fucking political correctness gone mad I made a joke about brazil - it was a similar joke as featured on a TV show called 'the Simpsons' (quite a popular mainstream series, for those on Mars). It was a joke taking the piss out of a Brazilian using a typical stereotype, with no racist undertones whatsoever. If anyone is so politically correct to take offense at that, then frankly i couldnt give a flying fuck. It simply wasnt racist and i object to being called that If i called a welshman a sheep shagger - is that a racist slur? or is it a stereotypical joke? i know what it is, everyone with all their marbles knows what it is, and id pity anyone who didnt And on another point - Tam you're being quite hypocritical in some respects. you condemn people for being overly personal and aggressive and suggest i made racist comments - yet you are one of Kalas' biggest fans... Kalas is the one who threatened people with physical violence and suggested America nukes the mideast remember... Does he get a pass?  (sorry to bring Kalas into this as he wasnt involved, but the point was there to be made) |

i never once supported kalas' aggressive statements about the middle east... that i can remember...i have completely diff political views from him, TRUST ME...
i stuck up for him when he is having a "hard time".. obviously i know him personally as well... THE WAY I WAS BROUGHT UP, THAT'S WHAT U DO...
i know soulcrew personally - therefore i can call him sheepshagger ! or left a reference for him. sorry baby.. ask him. it's ok..
i always get lumped with kalas and others... cliches are cliches i guess ? they do exist... i also enjoy many other members, many of which are on a break from here...

Tam - whether or not you agree with Kalas' politics is irrelevant, theres still a few double standards with regards to your attitude to him and to what's been said in this thread. i've seen you egg him on and praise him too many times for you to suddenly turn around and take the high ground over aggressive behaviour and personal insults im not on the attack here btw tam. i actually quite like reading some of your posts and think you have some cool interests and things to say. I just dont get the whole '5 new threads of shit' everyday thing.... actually u are right man..i am agressive and it was right to bring me into it,,though i do not seek "fans'' .. glad you're cool about it - i dont like dragging 3rd parties into this kind of thing. absolutely..u know the reason i am so agressive as u said is like i told WEBBY at the nyc meet.. when i post i type as if i was talking to u in a pub face to face and if someone says something i dont like i tend to let them know in my own way ,so to to some out there that thinks i am postin the same thing when i get mad its because anytime i get mad ,,(like last week with stepout) i tell them how i feel and am not tactful its just me.... |
