just listen to my generation w/alan then w/zak, alan has the feel advantage. there both good and both good for oasis, I would just rather have Alan back though! Plus Zak wont even be with them past this year.

maybe alan wasnt the best drummer (of course 2million times better than mccarroll), but his style fitted perfectly with oasis music. dlbia, wonderwall, champagne supernova, masterplan, the girl in the dirty shirt, gas panic, bonehead's bank holiday, step out, cum on feel the noize, supersonic live, columbia live...so many songs that have his mark. its true that in HC he wasnt very creative...but what do you think of WTSMG and BHN? zak's a great drummer and i really like his job in the album although i have to admit i didnt like his playing in glastonbury and i was scared when i heard that he was recording the album. anyway 9 years with alan aint easy to forget.

alan white & tony mccarroll are the only two on the list who were actually ever part of oasis as such,
zak isn't a member of oasis, nor was steve white ever (session drummer, or whatever you want to call them)
so it's got to be.................... Noel!

Come on whitey is the greatest. If he didn't have woman trouble he'd still be here. Noel has said he's top as well.

Zak Starkey is probably a technically better drummer than Alan White, but White did Wonderwall, and Wonderwall is fantastic. I love all that snare stuff.
