robbie fowler was my hero when i was 10, he was just the most natural goalscorer around, he's lost it since he left liverpool though but on his day he was class.

alan shearer is a great scorer, as is van nistellrooy(sp?), henry, henrik larrson, batistuta (still)....
personally wouldn't put fowler in the same league as those guys, still a good player though...

he hasn't been scoring that well in ages though... I would put him in the same league as someone like andy cole, can score when he's got loads of good players around him, but can';t do much on his own

yes but to be fair van nistelrooy plays for united, henry plays for arsenal and larrson played in scotland! ;D so you can't really use that as a point cos they are always going to get chances themselves.
Also please dont misinterpret this post i am well aware thiery henry and van nistelrooy are better footbalers then robbie fowler.

pizzy please..he is already the 3rd leadin scorer in prem history and hes like 6 years younger than cole and shearer who are 1 and 2 and he had major injuries cant agree with that mate fair enough, but henry, and van nistellrooy haven't been playing in england anywher near as long as he has... that's why he's 3rd top, and he's never done anything for england, and he's never won anything to mention.... I say he's a decent player, but put in perspective, I could name 50 strikers in the world who are better

You are forgetting a few people here:
Dixie Dean 60 goals in ONE season. Legend
Bob Latchford first player to get 30 goals in a season - post-war (or some balls like that).
Gary Lineker - England and Everton legend (despite him only being at EFC for one season).
3 legends.
