i cry at really sappy stuff. like, in that movie "you've got mail" i tear up at the end all the time! i dunno why, but i've been consistent at that. i didn't cry at my high school grad. i had a huge wad of kleenex in my hand, but i didn't use it. weird. i cried the first time i left the islands to come to the mainland US. i cried during the movie "land before time" when littlefoot's mom dies. oh that part KILLS me. oh and any song in a minor key, it seems. but on serious stuff, i don't tend to cry in public. people usually see me as upbeat and all that, and i don't like crying in front of people. i'd rather cry in the privacy in my own room and all that. no need to burden other's with my problems.

Last time would have been when I was watching Comic Relief a few years back.
This old african guy (probably about 80ish if I remember rightly) had never slept in a bed in his life. Not once. So the organizers of Comic Relief went over to see him and built him this shack with a bed in it. And it got to me. I think it was the fact that all of us take a lot of things for granted.
Always be glad for what you've got and dont be a moany bastard is the moral here I think.
