Ireland could become the first country in the world this weekend to make same sex marriage legal. Can't be arsed making a thread in Ut humiliter opinor section. I voted for the first time in my life today and I'm gonna be 31 this year. A lot of people are like-minded and I say Yes will just about win but not by a landslide

For all the diehard Stone Roses fans out there, I raise you this question from someone (me) who is sort of into them, but wants to learn more..
What would you say are the best performances to watch where everyone is on form and the atmosphere is great? I've heard Spike Island is like Knebworth to Oasis, and how Blackpool is classic for who was all in attendance, but what are some other good gigs they've had?

Glasgow Green from 1990 is reckoned to be one of the very best gigs.

Yes, Spike Island is just like Knebworth to Oasis, but didn't Noel say that the gig was bad? (think he said on 7 Ages Of Rock).

The wind caused the sound to blow all over the place which meant that nobody could really hear the music properly. It was more about the event.

Knebworth is a good example of that too.

The one after reunion, warm up gig in Warringhton Perr Hall seems mental one. Unfortunatelly I was too late for the party, but did see them twice after reunion. I did see Ian Brown solo in 2008 and 2010, but never was a big fan of Squire, but he was bloody cool when I saw them for the first time in 2012.

I was merely paraphrasing what Noel said in the Britpop documentary.

I heard about the Glasgow Green gig from the comments section of a video of the Blackpool gig on Youtube, but now that you've suggested it, I shall check it out. Thanks.
